Explore Maps and Find Your State’s Laws
America is not only a melting pot of people, it is a checkerboard of laws. In some states, religious people can’t be discriminated against during a job interview, but LGBT people don’t have that same protection. In other states, a religious business owner can be sued for asking to step aside from a service related to the owner’s deeply held beliefs about marriage. The patchwork of religious liberty protections do very little to help us resolve competing interests. A new approach is needed that respects all people in the same law.
